I LOVE this psychedelic Amelia Island Dragon Fly Collection!

These ceramic pieces are so colorful and reflect FUN on Amelia!

The bowl was thrown on a wheel. The platters were slab rolled and hand built. All were low fired in a kiln at 1880 degrees, hand painted with lead-free underglazes, low fired a second time, hand painted with 3 coats of lead-free clear glaze, and low fired one last time.

Each firing takes about 16 hours: 8 hours to heat up and reach temperature and then another 8 hours to cool down.

I used lead-free paints so that theses pieces can be used with food. They are dishwasher safe; however, it is best to hand wash.

The first one is a platter, approximately 14” X 10.5”.

Here is a bowl – 6” in diameter and 6” high.

Finally, a footed platter: 8.5” X 10.5” wide and on a foot, 4” high.
