Let’s take a look at what has happened to our wine suggestions for the summer. I like to look back to check their reliability and validity.

You may remember that these are the qualities and fundamentals of good writing and good journalism.

As far as suggestions for “Summer Grilling” there have been very few Pinot Noirs under the $10 mark although Fresh Market may still have a floor display of Veramonte Pinot Noir for $7.99 a bottle.

Chateau Ste Michelle has had both its Chardonnay and its number one selling Riesling under $10.

However there has been little movement in deals for New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs or California, Australian and French reds.

But not to worry; there will be something that fills these gaps although they may not be what you originally had in mind. Just keep your eye out for them.
